LAUREN GETS ENGAGED TO JACOB CLARK FEBRUARY 19, 2011

Lauren, a senior at Brigahm Young University Provo, met Jacob Clark shortly after he returned from his mission to Paraguay, South America.  He came to Provo to visit his brother, Sam Clark, who is in Lauren's ward.  Lauren and Jacob started going on walks together and spending time with friends.  All too soon it was time for Jacob to go back home to Kansas to work so he could save money for college.  They continued to correspond over the phone. They sometimes would talk for four hours at a time.  Lauren hurried back to Utah before the end of her vacation so she could meet up with Jacob a few days before school started, who was to begin school in January at BYU.  Things got pretty serious and so they  decided to come to California so Jacob could  meet us.  We liked him right away.  It is easy to see they are in love.  Jacob presented Lauren with a beautiful diamond ring and asked  for  her hand in Marriage.  They will be married at the Redlands Temple on Friday, June 10, 2011.  We are thankful they are close to the Lord and that they are so happy together
