Sunset off our back deck. Winter has its beautiful moments.
This is Jamie in her splint before her surgery. She broke her arm by tripping over the steps in front of the church going in to mutual.
Macie was sick this month and so were many of our family members. We did get to enjoy having Macie spend the night for the first time, while John and Meagan went to Disneyland with Rachel and Christian.
She likes to be outside.
After Jamie's surgery (Dr. Foley had to put a pin in her bone) she also got the flu. Poor girl. Andrew also had hernia surgery in January and Mandie had her wisdom teeth out. 3 surguries in one month for our family. I will most likely have my thyroid removed during a surgery in March.
On the first Saturday in February, Andrew and I drove out to visit the Score's in Desert Hot Springs, where they are living until their Crestline house is remodeled. It was 77 degrees. Perfect weather, so Andrew headed out for the pool.
Andrew and Karl stayed in the hot tub for a long time.
Connor also had a visitor--Mason Harrison.
I enjoyed talking to all the
Score girls. After the guys got dressed we drove to Cathedral City next to Palm Springs and had dinner at a restaurant recommended by a friend of Andrew's at work.
We ate out on the patio. We enjoyed the ribs, chicken, baked beans and for me, mostly the sweet potato fries.
It was a beautiful sunset, but my camera did it no justice. This is a picture of Big Mama's smoker-barbeque.
