Emily and Christian at the Palm Canyon Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, where we have our time share. We all went out there for Veterans Day. John dropped Meagan and Macie off on his way to work, so we got to play with Macie all day!
We were thankful we had those days in the sun in Palm Springs (both Veteran's Day and three days before Thanksgiving) because winter weather has already hit the mountains. I even walked to church in the snow through the forest one Sunday. I took a backpack with me with my blowdryer, curling iron, makeup, high heels and dress. I changed when I got to church. Just wanted to see if I could do it. Most meetings were cancelled. There was only a short sacrament meeting. Rachel and Christian also came through the forest in the snow.
We had a houseful on Thanksgiving Day. The Zuniga's came up.
We took our family picture.
We were thankful the Baker's came up.
Lauren came down from BYU Provo. We were so thankful she traveled safely and was able to come! 
The Leifers came also.
Macie's shirt rang true. 
We had all the traditional dishes we usually have--Pumpkin Crunch, Green Bean Casserole, Stuffed Mushrooms, Cream Cheese and Crackers with Raspberry Chipotle, Homemade Rolls, Pretzel Jello, Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Marinated Carrots, and of course, dessert!
