The pictures on the preceeding posts are from our day at Huntintington Library in San Marino. The date was January 7, 2010. The temperature--77 degrees. I love living in so Cal. Christian (who is out of school this week, Meagan, Macie, and Kelli Hoover her daughter Ava, and I went. We had a wonderful time seeing all the gardens, viewing the galleries, and watching Ava splash in the children's play area. Christian got a Koi fish to suck on his finger. Weird!

We were happy Kelli could meet us there. She is Meagan's best friend and former roommate. They went to cosmetology school together in Riverside. Now Kelli is expecting her second baby--a boy this time, and her husband is going to UCLA dental school. She does hair in Beverly Hills on Saturdays.

We had a wonderful Christmas and I enjoyed playing with my new grandbaby!

On Christmas Eve we had our 19th annual candlelight dinner. Grandma brought this things that you pop open and inside there is a prize and a joke and a crown. That is why we are wearing crowns. On Christmas day everyone enjoyed hanging out in pajamas and putting apps on their I touch's .

A few of our favorite holiday visitors included Brittany, Sam and baby James Strebble from Lubbock, Texas. Brittany is my long time friend Judie Cribbs' daughter. Brittany taught school for 3 years and now stays at home with baby James. Sam is in Medical School at Texas Tec. Isn't their baby adorable! We had a fun time with them at breakfast on New Years eve.
We were able to get a 4 generation picture with Macie, Meagan, me and my mom at Meagan's house.
The day after Christmas we had an extended family gathering at the Bakers in Rancho Santa Margarita.
We enjoyed having my mom and grand-daughter, Macie, over for Christmas. That was the best part of Christmas.

On a wet Saturday in December, Andrew and I headed off to the Redlands Temple. We were determined that the kids would not spend anymore time on the computer and tv and would do something better with their time, so we unhooked our devices. When we came home we found the older kids had endulged Jamie by dressing up and attending her tea party. The pictures say it all. Pretty nice siblings.

In December we had our first snow, which turned to rain at our lower elevation. Because of the snow at the high school, they cancelled classes and we headed for Disneyland and Grandma Bagley's house. One of those days was Christian's birthday so he met us at Disneyland after he was done at the employment center and we had a great time together. Because of the wet weather, the lines were really short. We walked right on to Splash Mountain, which is usually a really long line. This is a picture of us on Tower of Terror. Remember it had been raining all day so we look pretty weathered!
