Last week our family took a trip to the state of Washington. Here are some of the highlights of our vacation.

The Seattle Science Center had some really fun things to do, including an amazing butterfly encounter along with other fun displays like the giant table and chair set you see pictured below. Andrew and I enjoyed the imax movie of the Lewis and Clark expedition while the kids chose to go to the 3D Underwater Sea Adventure. The laser show with the music of Queen in the background was really fun too.
While waiting for a ferry the kids found some wild blackberry bushes. One night when we were in Forks, Emily found a wild blackberry bush and picked enough for me to make a cobbler. (We had a kitchen in our hotel suite.) We served it hot with vanilla ice cream. It was the best cobbler I've ever had.
